5/23/2017

In May 2017 the implementation of the project "Strengthening capacities and mechanisms for supporting Chapter 20 reform process" has started. The project is financed by the European Union and implemented by partner organizations Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation, Foundation for Management and Industrial Research  and Association for rural development JAVOR – Zrnovci.

The overall objective of the YESNetwork+ project is to contribute towards implementing the Chapter 20 in the EU accession process of the Republic of Macedonia through structured input from YESNetwork.

CSOs, existing and future members of YESNetwork, active in Chapter 20 areas as well as national and local CSOs that will participate under the re-granting scheme are the main target group of the project.

The project will provide financial support through grants for the civil society organizations with a total fund of 60000 euros for 8 projects (4 local projects, and 4 national projects).

The main results of the project are expected to be:

Establishing structured coordination among CSOs regarding the implementation of the      reform processes for Chapter 20 – Enterprise and industrial policy

- Strengthening the capacity of CSOs for policy making, networking and monitoring of          Chapter 20 policies at national and local level

- Increasing cooperation and transfer of know-how between CSOs and other non-state        actors relevant for Chapter 20 areas at national and international level

- Raising awareness on the importance of the Chapter 20 for the overall progress towards    EU accession.

The project will be implemented from May 2017 to May 2019.
