Call for awarding grants to the civil society organizations

The aim of this grant scheme  is to ensure support to the CSOs involved in various aspects of Chapter 20– Enterprise and industrial policy.

Through the implementation of the grant scheme, the main goal is strengthening capacities of CSOs for policy making, networking and monitoring of Chapter 20 policies and  promoting new mechanisms and instruments in the area of ​​entrepreneurship and industry at local and national level.  

The grant scheme is realizing as part of the project  Strengthening capacities and mechanisms for supporting Chapter 20 reform processes (“YESNetwork+)“ financed by the European Union through the IPA Program for Civil Society Facility and Media Programme 2015.

 

Priority areas:

a) Principles of Enterprise and Industrial Policy

  - Priority 1: Improving the business environment for creating new businesses

- Priority 2: Improving the dialogue with the business community

b) Instruments of Enterprise and Industrial Policy

- Priority 3: Improving the competitiveness and innovation of SMEs

- Priority 4: Ensuring better access of SMEs to financial services

c) Sectoral policies

- Priority 5: Analysis of specific sectors

- Priority 6: Capacity building for the creation, implementation and monitoring of tourism programs

 

The grant scheme has a total fund of 3,688,866 MKD (60,000 EUR). At least 8 projects will be supported through the grant scheme (4 at local level and 4 at national level).

Maximum amount per project is  614,811 denars (10.000 EUR) for activities implemented in several municipalities (national level) or 307,405 (5.000 EUR) per project implemented at local level (one municipality).

Maximum duration of the project is expected to be 6 (six) months. The potential grantees must be registered CSOs, established at least one year before the re-granting call is published and possessing sufficient organisational and financial capacity.
