Youth Entrepreneurial Service (YES) Foundation in partnership with the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR) and ARC Fund from Bulgaria, within the framework of the project "Enhancing competitiveness of SMEs through improved innovation support" have created two guides for small and medium enterprises: A Guide to Innovation for Small and Medium Enterprises and Financing Innovation - A Guide for Small and Medium Enterprises.
 

The Innovation Guide for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) provides information on the basic tools used in various SMEs to support innovation and is intended to help the decision-making process for the usefulness of applying a particular innovation tool, to what extent it meets the defined objectives and the work environment. At the same time, the guide is the first practical manual in the field of innovation management available in Macedonian language.

The Guide for Financing Innovation for SMEs defines the role and importance of finance for the innovation process, describes the actors and mechanisms in the process of financing innovation, and offers an overview of European and national sources and funding opportunities.

The guides are intended for both SME staff and people who do not possess the overall knowledge of the multilayered innovation process, who want or need to understand the basics of a successful innovation practice. Consequently, the needs of the service personnel, marketing staff, students, consultants and all others who are interested in greater knowledge in the fields of economy and innovation or towards greater competitiveness and innovation in their companies are addressed.
