Call for participation in creating an Advocacy Toolkit for youth entrepreneurship during Covid-19

4/13/2021

The Western Balkan Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance announces a public call for young entrepreneurs, civil society organizations and youth activists from the Western Balkan 6 (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) to join the process of creating an Advocacy Toolkit for influencing public policies for young entrepreneurs during Covid-19.  The Advocacy Toolkit will serve as a manual and will help the newly established Western Balkan Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance to lobby for better policy measures for youth entrepreneurship in the Western Balkan region.

The Advocacy Toolkit will be created through a participative approach where interested CSOs, young entrepreneurs and youth activists will work together moderated by an experienced advocacy policy export to develop recommendations for policy measures for supporting youth entrepreneurship during the Covid-19 crisis.

Selected applicants will be divided into three working groups for developing recommendations for policy measures for three target groups:

  1. public sector
  2. private sector
  3. civil society sector

The groups will work on the toolkit over the course of two months (June - July 2021) with regular online coordination meetings.

Interested entrepreneurs, civil society organizations and youth should register by filling up this
form.

The Western Balkan Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance is a regional civil society network established by the Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation (North Macedonia), BSC Bar (Montenegro) and Innovation Center Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation and its partners are supported by RYCO within the 4th Open Call for Project Proposals co-financed by the European Union.
